Born from a love of simple, intentional design, Hendle was created with one mission: to craft beautiful, high-performing candles that feel like luxury — without the luxury price tag. Every candle is poured by hand in Sutton Veny, Wiltshire, designed with a clean all-white aesthetic that blends seamlessly into any room, any style, and any moment.

What makes our candles different? It starts with our wax. We use a single, carefully chosen blend of coconut and rapeseed — vegan-friendly, cruelty-free, GMO-free, and 100% biodegradable. Specially formulated for container candles, this wax offers exceptional performance with an average burn time of 30 hours for our 20cl candles, and up to 40 hours for our new 30cl model. It’s sustainable, natural, and a joy to work with. At Hendle, we don’t chase trends; we commit to what works beautifully.

While our wax is environmentally conscious, we use fragrance oils (not essential oils) to achieve the best possible scent throw and performance. This choice allows our candles to truly transform a space — filling it with mood, memory, and meaning.

Every part of the process, from inspecting each vessel to carefully controlling wax temperature before pouring, is done entirely by hand. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just mindful craftsmanship, every step of the way.

✨ Hendle was founded on December 28th, 2024, by Henry J. Jenkins, an apprentice electrician with a passion for craftsmanship and design. What began as curiosity about how scent, light, and atmosphere could transform a room quickly grew into a dedication to candle-making. Every Hendle candle is a reflection of Henry’s personal journey — balancing a trade in electrical work with a craft that brings warmth, calm, and meaning into everyday life.
