Hendle Website Update — What’s New
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a smoother, more beautiful experience when you visit Hendle. This update is our biggest yet, with changes across the site to make shopping with us easier, clearer, and more enjoyable. Here’s what’s new:
✅ Homepage Refresh
Premium photography now shows our candles burning cleanly and evenly. Behind-the-scenes images — from hand-wrapping to wick trimming — have been added so you can see the care in every step. The layout has also been improved on both desktop and mobile, ensuring a seamless experience no matter how you browse.
✅ About Page Update
We’ve expanded the story of Hendle’s roots in Sutton Veny, Wiltshire, and included a personal note from Henry, an apprentice electrician turned candle maker. There’s also more detail on our sustainable wax, fragrance choices, and handmade process.
✅ FAQ Expansion
The FAQ section now includes additional questions on burn times, CLP compliance, and fragrance strength. Answers are clearer and more transparent, so you can find peace of mind without needing to get in touch.
✅ Returns & Refunds Page
A brand-new standalone page has been added for returns and refunds, written in a warm, reassuring tone. The layout uses ticks for readability and makes navigating policies quick and easy.
✅ Performance & Visual Fixes
The brightness issue with desktop images has been corrected, mobile layouts refined for smoother scrolling, and page loading speeds improved. Fonts, spacing, and buttons have been polished for a cleaner, more premium feel, while navigation has been simplified for quicker access. SEO descriptions and alt text have also been updated for improved discoverability.
